How Much Oil Is Left? Really? In current known reserves there is 1,650,585,140,000 barrels left. With 97,103,871 barrels per day and 47 years of known oil left. While there is 2.1 trillion barrels of untapped oil,its actual proof there is a limited amount of oil on the planet. As reserves get depleted the price of oil will sharply increase making it more economical to go deeper after the last of it. All said, there is 125 years of oil left on the planet bringing the end of humanity at 2149. Known reserves and stores come to an end in 2068 and by then we will be using renewable energy such as wind, solar, tidal and geothermal to name a few. We as humanity need to get off the fossil fuel bandwagon and go back to the way it used to be before the automobile. Sure going fast is fun and airplanes are a blast but the fuel to take us by those means is not limitless. We are going to Mars one day but until that time we are dealing ourselves a hand we cant play. People in the cities will all die and those of us in rural settings will have to kill off the hordes of zombies in the coming Apocalypse, people fighting for the last resources as the planet runs dry. Switching to firewood is a good example but theres only so many trees on the planet. Tok has green gold, spruce trees that when dried can be chipped and used as fuel like in the Tok School,it will outlast oil for sure. Tok's spruce is 75-125 tons of fuel per acre so at least they will survive the zombie hordes. Billions of people when the lights go dark will all starve as the transportation industry comes to a grinding halt and food shelves go bare... This is why we are beginning to go net zero by 2050. But greed and profits will rule the day and only the rich or well armed will survive. Peace,BigT
